Silver Water Wheel Lodge provides an all-inclusive fishing trip with direct access to Lac Seul. Between our Guides and our Lodge Staff, we provide everything you need for your stay.
Cabins
Relax and unwind after a day of fishing in the comfort of clean, modern cabins overlooking the lake. All cabins are carpeted with comfortable sitting areas, full bathrooms, refrigerators, and large tables — perfect for playing cards or reminiscing on your favorite fishing stories! Beds are fully made and bath towels are stocked in each cabin. If you run out, we can easily replenish supplies with daily maid service.
Our Cabins
Bonfire Bay: Sleeps 12 with 2 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 1 half-bath, and a large deck overlooking the lake.
Bear’s Den: Sleeps 8 with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a large deck overlooking the lake.
Sunset Shores: Sleeps 8 with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a large deck overlooking the lake.
Eagle’s Nest: Sleeps 10 with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a large deck overlooking the lake.
Trapper’s Cabin: Sleeps 8 with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
Turtle Rapids: Sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom.
Kingfisher Cove: Sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom.
Dining & Meals
SWWL’s main lodge serves traditional, home-style meals including breads, dinner rolls, and desserts. Each morning, we offer a buffet featuring lighter breakfast options like cereals, and fruit. Guests can also choose a hearty breakfast straight from the grill with your choice of pancakes, French toast, Biscuits n’ Gravy, or eggs cooked just the way you like them!
Evening meals are served family style with a specialty house salad, baked bread, hearty entrées, and delicious desserts.
We will gladly accommodate any food allergies. Please notify us prior to your arrival if you have dietary restrictions so we can prepare accordingly.

Shorelunch
For many of our Guests, this is the highlight of the day! A SWWL shorelunch is not just a meal, it’s an event. Your menu options change daily and include fresh caught walleye along with your choice of golden fried potatoes and onions, baked beans, or our very own stir-fried wild rice recipe.
The fish can be prepared in one of three ways: crisp fried; baked with tomatoes, sautéed onions and mushrooms; or served in a delicious chowder with corn and potatoes.
No matter what your choice, there is nothing that compares to a carefully crafted shorelunch at Silver Water Wheel Lodge.
End of the Day
After dinner is served and the nightly roundtable is complete, Guests can go to their cabins to get cleaned up or rest on the deck. Or, they can gather around the bonfire with good company. Some may choose to fish or swim off the dock, and others might take a boat out for an evening cruise — or more fishing!
However you choose to unwind at the end of the day, there is no better place to do it than on Lac Seul in northwest Ontario.
