Fishing Report May 20, 2008 Just a quick update to let you know that the ice officially went out today. We have actually been on the water for about a week travelling back channels and dodging ice flows. First guests arrived today and despite, cool cloudy conditions managed to put some nice pike in the boat including a 40″ pike for Randy Tschetter. With the first week cancelled, the lodge isn’t scheduled to fill up until Friday. Even though it isn’t a full week, we will probably begin regular fishing reports this weekend. The forecast is for 4 days of bright sunshine and warm weather. This week has the potential to be very strong for big pike. I’ll keep you updated. Mike Willems SWWL
